The Tie That Binds
This exhibition combines recent cyanotype prints with selected pieces from various bodies of work created over the last ten years, weaving together fragments of personal and collective histories, using both found and family photographs as a way to dive into themes of memory and the archive. This work explores the ways in which photographs can serve as vessels of nostalgia, identity, and loss. Through innovative arrangements and contextual reimagining, Duvall blurs the boundaries between the personal and universal, inviting viewers to reflect on the fragile, yet enduring nature of memory and its role in shaping our understanding of the past.
